A little hello….

The vision of Bath Holistic Massage is to help protect, maintain and restore your health and well-being.

The Well-Being Shop was created during the Covid-19 Pandemic in 2020 with the idea of creating self-help rituals using local feel-good products to help support clients and customers alike in maintaining a positive mental health.

The studio

Bath Holistic Massage is situated in the gorgeous city of Bath, a stone’s throw from the majestic Royal Crescent and a short walk from the entrance to Bath’s beautiful Royal Victoria Park.

Find us 15 seconds away from the entrance to the main long stay car park in Bath, Charlotte Street, just before you get to Queen’s Square and by the zebra crossing.

Our gorgeous studio is located in one of Bath’s secretive vaults, a hole in the wall lying underneath Queen’s Parade.

Walk inside and find yourself removed from the outside world, encapsulated in warmth and plants… lots of plants!!!

The therapists

Soph – Owner, Massage Therapist and Pregnancy Massage Specialist

Find Soph working Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and one Saturday each month

I was born in Reno, USA, and spent the first part of my childhood in the Half Moon Bay, California before moving back to Bath at age 5 to live with my Grandparents. I feel so lucky to have grown up in Bath, it is, in my view, the best place for kids which is why I promptly moved back again when I had children of my own.

I retrained as a massage therapist after a successful career as a clothing buyer and personal stylist where I worked with clients in a holistic way (style is a total form of holistic self expression in my opinion!) and so felt a natural calling to hands on holistic therapies and healing. Bath Holistic Massage was born in 2014.

I offer therapeutic and remedial massage, focusing on protecting, maintaining and restoring your health. I believe in a Holistic approach to massage, taking into account a person’s whole being and not just physical symptoms. Through my work I hope to restore a sense of equilibrium within the client and leave them feeling completely relaxed and restored by relieving aches and pains and offering time, space and support to encourage an overall sense of wellbeing.

My specialism is pregnancy and post natal massage as I am passionate about supporting mothers-to-be throughout a time which is both beautiful yet challenging. I am a mother myself and I know first hand how demanding a pregnancy can be on your body and that each pregnancy is completely individual with aches and pains often changing as the pregnancy progresses. It is my aim to help my clients through this amazing journey and provide physical and emotional support.

Lynsey – Massage Therapist, Sports Massage, Lymphatic Drainage

Find Lynsey working Tuesdays

Lynsey has been a manual therapist for 13 years having moved on from a busy
executive life in London creative agencies. She dedicates her practice to
supercharging your personal and professional performance goals. Her approach to
bodywork is to use her experience and a combination of a broad range of
techniques to tailor the session to you.

Having worked in Singapore for the past 7 years, Lynsey is now in Bath and looking
forward to working with you.

“I believe there’s a middle ground between the rehabilitative exercises given to you
from a physical therapist, and the soothing yet generic strokes of a traditional
massage therapist that feel great, but don’t always get you the results you need. I
listen to you. I check your lifestyle, training and posture and work with you to build a
treatment that will supercharge your performance.”

She has worked with professional sports men and women, international rugby
teams (including England, Australia and New Zealand) and football teams (including
Liverpool and Arsenal), triathletes, Ironmen and women, dancers, runners,
weightlifters, tired parents, pregnant women, desk jockeys, top business executives,
cancer patients, the over 70, 80s and 90s, young kids and old.

“I’m an ex-dancer, try-hard CrossFitter, ultra trail runner and one time Spartan
champion(!), with two full-on and fabulous kids.

Zoe – Massage Therapist, Swedish, Lomi & Lomi and Deep Tissue Massage

Find Zoe working Friday & Saturdays

Zoe is a Bath local who has recently returned from working in Spain and Costa Rica. My background is in Psychology, and she has worked across various mental health settings including hospitals, care and schools.

“As a meditation, yoga, and music lover I inevitably gravitated towards holistic healing and discovered the benefits of massage, sounds baths and sensory floats. After trying out a massage taster session I knew I wanted to know more, and began a full Holistic Massage diploma soon after. A year ago, one of my discoveries also included booking a massage at Bath Holistic Massage – needless to say, I loved it so much and I am now lucky to say I am working here!

My massage aims to provide safe touch and a calm space for people pause, breathe and reset. As a holistic practitioner, I consider how the mind and body are connected in their response to stress. I believe listening to our body is vital for our wellbeing, yet finding a moment to be still and observe ourselves is often forgotten during our busy daily routines. Once we take that moment to pause, we can notice how our body is really feeling and begin to release what no longer serves us. I hope to offer a space for people (who may have little time to worry about themselves) to return to their body and reset.

I am currently offering Swedish and Deep Tissue massage and will be undertaking further training in the future. I look forward to meeting you!”

Grace – Reiki healer & Tarot reader

Find Grace at Bath Holistic Massage twice a month

Grace grew up in Leicestershire countryside with 6 brothers and sister in a very creative, musical and artistic family.
She attended boarding schools all over the country then to the Brit school, moving to London and wanted to pursue acting where she found love in tarot and reiki helping her through ups and downs before moving to Bath.
“For the past few years I have followed my curiosity and interest in Reiki and Tarot reading and have been trained by some incredibly gifted and talented healers. These include the Reiki Maya Centre London, Astrology at SLC, Women’s circle training with Anoushka Florence and Tarot training with incredible teachers like Tamara Driessen, Biddy Tarot and Lindsay Mack.
I combine all the sage and wise advice I’ve been taught with my own individual knowledge to create a healing sanctuary for my clients so they can come and get a reiki or a tarot reading with me and feel at home, cosy and supported. I want to create a place for anyone who ever feels lost or alone to come and feel empowered again.
